The winding shaft is integrated into a solid structure with wooden cladding. The structure is strong enough to carry the load and is therefore suitable for use as a resting area or seating area, and is clad with wooden or wood-plastic terrace boards. The slats are protected from adverse weather conditions, especially sunlight. All metal parts are made of type 316L stainless steel, which offers maximum resistance to corrosion caused by salt or chlorine. It is powered by a low voltage 24V motor that features integrated end stops for reliable operation. The control unit is usually located in the pool’s utility room and the entire system can be easily controlled using a louvered controller or remote control. For maximum convenience, we also offer a battery-powered version that does not need a power cord and requires charging only once every two months, with a charging time of approximately one hour.
Installation of the winch is simple and consists of fixing it firmly to the edge of the pool with stainless steel screws, ensuring a stable and safe covering of the pool by the slat system.
