All metal components are made of type 316L stainless steel, which offers maximum resistance to corrosion caused by salt or chlorine. It is powered by a low voltage 24V motor that features integrated end stops for reliable operation. The control unit is usually located in the pool’s utility room, and the entire system can be easily controlled with a louvered controller or remote control. For maximum convenience, we also offer a battery-powered version that does not need a power cord and requires charging only once every two months, with a charging time of approximately one hour.
Installation of the winch is simple and consists of fixing it firmly to the pool edge with stainless steel screws, which ensures a stable and safe covering of the pool by the slat system.
Many pools are equipped with a special pool curbstones that is installed around the entire perimeter of the pool. This edging is designed to elegantly cover any unevenness in the walls while ensuring that the edges remain perfectly straight and visually appealing. The pool slats are precision manufactured with a width 20 to 30 mm less than the opening through which they are lowered to the surface. Due to this design solution, the section where the slat enters the water is often cut out of the edging, allowing the slats to cover the water surface as much as possible, ensuring the perfect appearance and functionality of the pool.
